In the last three days I was preparing my paper for some conferences. I used Microsoft Word to type it, MathType to insert equation, EndNote to insert reference. Yesterday I was mistakenly doing something that made my work appear like this:

As you notice, it shows the codes. I thought the error was coming from MathType and EndNote until I found that it also showed the code of email address hyperlink (first line). The error must be coming from the Microsoft Word. So from Microsoft Word help I searched with keyword “field code” and I found there is an option to switch between field codes and results by pressing ALT+F9. It returned my work appeared like this:
