The swimming pool at campus was under maintenance until 2nd of January (actually until now the pool is still empty). I have to find other way to let my body active. So, last Sunday I played tennis after for more than 3 months never play it. I was enjoying that game even though my arm became strain after that. I asked my friend to play again in the following day. I decided to practice my tennis skill this week, before new semester started.
On Wednesday night I went to tennis court with my friend, hoped that we can play until late night. Unfortunately, we found that the light control room was locked so we couldn’t turn on the light. Next to control room is squash court. What we did next was playing squash using racket and tennis ball. I was enjoying that game and I felt that my tennis skill was improved. I could control both the movement and speed of the ball. I was sure that I can play tennis better.
Yesterday I went to court and found a couple play tennis very well. Realizing that my skill wasn’t as good as them, I played quite far from them. After several minutes, I couldn’t swing my racket as good as that night. The movement of the ball was correct, but it had less speed. It seemed that my exercise that night was useless. I have to learn how to play tennis from the very basic, how to grip the racket, how to swing it, etc.
